Impact of Urban Planning on the Development Process:
Select an urban environment to “case study”. This should be a city that is either currently undergoing redevelopment or has done so recently (within 5 years).
Collect all necessary documents while researching the planning practices taking place in that community. Once this is completed, select the four most prevalent issues that the plan has identified and hopes to ultimately improve upon.
Develop a strong argument explaining how each of these issues impact traditional building methods and techniques: What challenges will these issues create for the future of development in that area? Develop four solutions to the recognized problems that will arise once the plan is implemented and explain how these solutions will successfully solve the recognized problems.

What can be done to prevent new planning ideas from hurting future development? Use specific examples to show the magnitude that these impacts can have on development.Offer creative ways that builders/developers can combat these changes with possible solutions.
